09:00 am. Arrival to the town of Huarmey Huarmey is a city of fishermen and farmers, and friendly inhabitants, known as “The city of the cordiality”. His name, they say, comes from the word Quechua, or Quechua Warmi (woman), as the area was inhabited by many women, though others say that it is due to the fact that their land lies buried one of the daughters of the Inca Pachacutec, who fell in love with a settler of the area.
